Yes? If it's anything like Seattle, that's how it works. You have the one giant city (Seattle/New York) and then there are different "neighborhoods" within the city (i.e Ballard, Queen Anne, Magnolia, Greenlake, Fremont, etc.). They're all addressed as Seattle though businesses will often bear the name of the neighborhood in which they're in.

Cute little cafes and pizza joints! And beautiful parks and libraries (:

I love that place! Lemme think what else. My family is originally from Buffalo, so that's upstate closer to Canada, but they still spent significant time in NYC and the surrounding boroughs~

Mmkays, from what I remember:

Times Square

5th Avenue (Oh the Shopping~)

Rockefeller Center

Grand Central? (It's beautiful~)

Maddison Square and its Garden

Coney Island…oh yes. That place <3

Statue of Liberty? aha~ If anyone wants to go there…for whatever reason.

Ellis Island. It could be a powerful story tool later, if anyone needs to find out about their family and whatnot~

BROADWAY!

Brooklyn Bridge (such a pretty view)

Staten Island Ferry ( There's a museum, park, bunch of restaurants…etc.)

Then there's where all the nightclubs are, downtown Manhattan. I was too young to venture down there, but there are lots~ c:

I hate when I'm supposed to be off work at 10 o'clock and then they decide to keep me for an extra hour doing stupid pointless things that can be done on the next business day. Like, really, you had me since 4 in the afternoon, you have me again on Sunday from 5 at night to 4 in the morning and again on Monday from 12-4. LET ME GO HOME AND FREAKING SLEEP.

Haha, but no, seriously. Don't even worry about it. My birthday was a super quiet affair. I had dinner with a few friends, got to have my first legal drink, and just have a nice time. (:
