Also, that sounds lovely. I got home from work and immediately made a cup of tea. And then I plugged in my Christmas lights, and I'm slowly starting to put together my Christmas playlist. Also going over how I have a problem with midnight premieres and concerts and ballets. Mreeeh.

Can your character be married into the family? Like she had two different parents but they split and one married a Lowe and boom she's like a step relative?

No, they must have blood ties of some kind.

For instance--she was an orphan and never knew her real parents but boom, she got a invite from this prestige school.

It can be anything, long as they are related to the family--blood related.

That's totally fine, you can do whatever you want with the characters--it's your characters. The only thing I have control over is just making sure they are blood related, everything else is fair game.
