| This isn't even an idea yet.
I just need to brainstorm and would love do so with all of you.
Let's start with a few basics of what I want
Title I like catchy titles....they usually reflect whatever the plot is about.
Genre You all know that I'm a sucker for romance right?
Well!! I don't want romance to be the focal point of this roleplay, but it's totally fine to have it--because I can't really live without it. You know? So anything else but romance as the main one. Oh. No gore/horror. I just don't like it.
Group It's a group roleplay, but I don't want a huge one. Limited slots so think about that when helping me brainstorm ;~; maybe it's one set of people and another set? Maybe a school, family, etc.
Plot I like simple plots. I like detailed plots. I just need a plot. What's the focal point?
Races I don't mind what the races are at all as long as it doesn't involve vampires and werewolves.
Literate Level Eh. It depends. Maybe Semi? Advanced? Either or is fine with me.
Rating R-16 to be safe, you know?
Images Usually I don't mind real or anime. But I'm leaning towards anime this go around. I suppose it just depends on the idea.

Ideas
For any ideas so far
- Tea Party
- Plot:
An all girl school. Basically a tale of a few female girls who are broken into two teams based on their heritage/race. They are sent to "Charm School" to learn how to be good ladies and uphold their family name. But soon they realize that not all is not what it seems at their precious school after the disappearance of a student (NPC) who rebelled against the Head Mistress. The two teams will have to put aside their differences and figure out the secrets of their school before it's too late.
Mystery, Suspense, Friendship.
- Printing Wars
- Plot:
Basically just about a fashion magazine company (the one who produces all the material I always forget the name) who is competing against a rival magazine for more customers. One magazine is sort of like Vogue, in a sense that it is REALLY trendy with high-end stuff, etc. and then there's another magazine that's basically just the Punk!Vogue, and has all dark, edgy material and stuff. Punk!Vogue starts to welcome teenagers into their company for internships (also to get close with the youth population). Vogue sees this and does the same as well. After an incident involving teens from rival internships, Vogue and Punk!vogue have come up with a tradition - every year they will send some of their interns to a house and have them compete with one another in various competitions just to see which internship has the better proteges.
It's a bit confusing. Basically, two rival fashion mag companies send their teen interns over to a house and have them compete for fame and a well-paid job at their magazine. There are also different types of Interns; Model Interns, Editor Interns, etc. If they were to win they'd be offered a job in their field of internship.
- Superpower School
- Plot:
. They have superpowers and are training to go up against the government, who in turn, is training their own set of kids. Government kids infiltrate superpower school (whether the sn kids know about them being there or not is up to you.) Action ensues.
- The Runaways
- Plot:
This is based off of a book by the lovely V.C. Andrews.
It consists of girls/guys who are, to put it bluntly, fucked up. They all come from a series of horrible pasts that make it hard for them to face everyday life. After going through the usual (therapy, court sessions, whatever they want their character to go through) they all come to the same therapist.
This therapist (An NPC) had to deal with each character separately, until he/she decided that a group session would be the best. When they go for the group session, each character gets a day to tell their story (This could be the intro post for each character). Just as the therapist had wanted, they all accept each other's backgrounds and they become friends.
But after a while, all of them begin to yearn for a new start: a place where people won't know what they went through. And they wait until everyone turns eighteen (This could be a time skip, maybe?)
Then they all set out on the road, looking for a place to set their roots and start a new beginning. Romance may evolve between characters, their car may have broken down, but in the end they all end up in one house.
Then, the ending (if the RP lasts this long) can consist of them slowly getting irritated with each other. Soon friendships become broken and distance is placed between the once close 'family'. Because of this, each person returns to their hometown because it's the only other place of comfort they know.
But because they ran away, they were able to help each other over-come their fucked up pasts and now they can all be happy again.
Almost Perfect
- Plot:
In the RP world there is one character we hate the most: Mary-Sues. So, the last thing you'd want is an RP that has these types of characters. That is, until, you can make the 'perfect' realize that they are not all that they think they are.
Basically, you'd want to purposefully make a Mary-Sue character. All these Mary-Sues go to the same place (school, work, building...etc) and as they interact with each other Mary-Sue, they notice a change in them. They notice that their Mary-Sue qualities are being stripped. In the end, each character becomes a regular character to live a regular life.
- Stratego
- Plot:
Genre: Sci-Fi, GL, Action, Adventure, Friendship
This concept takes place in a futuristic war-driven world where everyone aspires and fights for the honor and right to be a soldier. The setting is in a prestigious young adult, all female, soldier acadamy. Whether the character is forced to be there or is there by hopeful choice is up to you. The academy is divided into multiple classes based on your personality and skill set. One or a few of each class is put into one bunkhouse. Those in this bunkhouse are considered a crew and they must fight against other teams in strategic war games to succeed within the academy. The team that comes out on top wins ultimate fame, fortune, power, and wealth within the society and is capable of achieving whatever their heart yearns for, no question. There's only one question- how much are you willing to sacrifice of yourself, how far are you willing to go- to achieve all you've ever dreamed of?
The Classes: >>The Strategist<< >>Tech Control<< >>Communicator<< >>Pilot<< >>Weapons' Specialist<<
This idea leaves open a great big opportunity for GL relations or disguised gender.
- Six Dancing Princesses
- Plot:
Genre: Suspense, Adventure, Family, PRINCESSES!
Plot: This idea is still in the making so bear with me teehee~
I'm pretty sure most of us avid readers are familiar with the tale of the twelve dancing princesses? There are many different adaptations and I am going to take my favorite and give it a little twist for this Roleplay.
There are six beautiful princesses that are much beloved by the kingdom and sought after near and far by many a suitor and prince. But the king envies the kingdom's love for his beautiful daughters and keeps them locked away day in and day out within his incredible palace.
What he is unaware of is a secret passage that leads from the eldest princess' room out into an enchanted garden where incredible trees bear the fruit of gold and silver and the most previous of all gems. It's not the garden that's incredible to behold however, but the rare joyous smiles that alight the previously miserable princesses faces as they waste the night away dancing in an incredible hall where the most amazing musicians an handsome men distract them until the dawn's light tickles the horizon.
But there is more to this magical place than meets the eye. The dark and breathtaking hostess may have more up her sleeve than the six joyous princesses could know, and it seems to become more and more difficult each night for the much beloved beauties to return home to their possessive father and the real world. Is there anything within the princesses power to break this spell the enchanted garden has over them? Do they even want to?
In case you missed it, which I doubt with you lovely ladies, the secret passageway is an entry to the fae realm. The more time they spend in this other world, the more they develop into fae creatures themselves and the more difficult it becomes to remember who they really are. The hostess who summons them each night is none other than their mother who became trapped in the world herself when the princess were still very young
- The Moonlit Wood"
- Plot:
A prince inherits the title of heir after his elder brother's tragic and untimely passing. With this, comes the inheriting of his soon-to-be king duties and his brother's palace and lands, which sits comfortably next to a rumored-to-be-enchanted and magical forest. This prince brings with him a certain number of his closest friends (depending on how many people are allowed to join the role play) to either be advisors in his inner circle or simply as company as he works through his grief (the friends can be other princes, dukes/lords, or even common people). One day, the friends decide to go hunting, a pastime they all used to enjoy together, using it as an excuse to get outside of the castle and to see better what the lands the prince inherited has to offer.
With the rumors of animals with the eyes of a human haunting the woods (labeled as demons or even mischievous fey by the townsfolk) at the back of their mind, they separate and begin to hunt. But when the prince comes across one of these rumored creatures he chases it down even as the sun continues to fall in the sky. Just as the sun dips below the horizon he makes a shocking discovery: hidden in the forest, disguised by magic too powerful to comprehend, is a magnificent castle surrounded by an impressive lake and the most stunning grounds. The most shocking thing of all, however, comes when he oversees the animal he had chased changing shape beneath the cold light of the moon, changing into a human girl. The prince runs back to tell his friends who have been worried about him ever since he broke apart from their hunting group.
They follow him a few nights later to this hidden castle and continue to make secret trips there, trying to discern what exactly this place is and if this animal-girl is to be trusted. They come to find out that it's not only one girl, but several. After some time, they reveal themselves to the girls who are frightened and distrustful and hide. Eventually though, they warm to the prince and his friends and they tell them of their plight: they are all princesses, stolen from their homelands, and linked by black magic to a powerful sorcerer. The castle is essentially their prison, a cage for the sorcerer to keep his pets in. They come to find that these girls are hundreds of years old, aging only when in their human form. Because of their link to the sorcerer, this keeps him young for an indeterminate amount of time. They are cursed to spend their days as forest animals and can only return to human form if within the boundaries of the hidden palace.
At some point, these people realize that the sorcerer is up to no good, planning on using his ever growing and expanding magic to make him the ruler of all the lands, overthrowing the monarchies of all the kingdoms. It's up to these people to stop them but, one thing makes it difficult: because of the girls' magic link to the sorcerer, if he dies, so do they.
- Invaded
- Plot:
Basically, the world is being invaded by a race of shape-changing aliens. But no one is aware of this. Why? Because this race of aliens is excellent at coming swiftly and silently, quickly taking the face of and replacing the more important leaders and people in the world before slowly trickling down to the people of less importance. However, a small group of people have caught on, though unfortunately a little too late. They are knocked out and awaken inside a compound of sorts. They come to find out that this positively massive compound is for all the humans to live together in peace and harmony, the supposed "goal" of these aliens. Everyone has equal access to everything and anything that they want or need. Most of the humans are content to live in these compounds, shielded from outside view by special alien technology that not only allows anyone inside, but also doesn't let anyone out.
This small group of people then sets out to try to find a way out of this gratingly perfect compound and along the way find a few other people who want to help them get out of this compound, expose the aliens, take back their world and send them packing. What they don't know is that these people are actually aliens (though they don't agree with what their alien leaders are doing, which is actually using the earth for its resources with the intentions of abandoning all the people in an empty, useless world the second they run out).

Title:
The Runaways
Genre:
Hmmm...I guess it could be classified under suspense? Mystery? I'm not quite sure.
Plot:
This is based off of a book by the lovely V.C. Andrews.
It consists of girls/guys who are, to put it bluntly, fucked up. They all come from a series of horrible pasts that make it hard for them to face everyday life.
(This one is a little strange...just a funny idea that I've been toying with. It might not even make sense.)
Title:
Almost Perfect[/i]
Genre:
[b]Comedy?
Plot:
In the RP world there is one character we hate the most: Mary-Sues. So, the last thing you'd want is an RP that has these types of characters. That is, until, you can make the 'perfect' realize that they are not all that they think they are.

(Sort of lame, I know :/ Idk. Just thought it'd be fun to make Mary-Sues on purpose.)

| Okay any one can feel free to laugh at me after this, I'm totally fine. These were actually ideas I originally had for 1x1 role plays/story plots, but I thought they could easily be expanded to a small group.
один (one! I'm brushing up on my already limited Russian...) Let me preface this by saying that Swan Lake is one of my absolute favorite ballets and I am a Tchaikovsky girl through and through. So, this is loosely based on Swan Lake, though I tried to give it my own twist and go more into the details.
Title I don't know. I'm horrible with titles, really. "The Moonlit Wood"? I'm sure I could come up with something more original, short, inventive, and succinct if given ample time.
Genre I guess it's mostly fantasy and mystery, with elements of action and suspense. And, of course, there's always room for romance.
Plot A prince inherits the title of heir after his elder brother's tragic and untimely passing. Races All human. Just with fantastical elements.
Literate Level Semi, maybe?
Rating Sure, R-16 is probably good
Images I guess either/or. I was thinking real, but it could be anime.

Uno más!
Title I royally suck at titles. It's true. "Invaded"?
Genre Sci-fi, adventure... maybe other things?
Plot I'm going to be horrible at explaining this so let's see what I can do...
Images I guess either/or. I was thinking real, but it could be anime.
That's basically it. If I need to explain something better, let me know.

| I really like the Invaded idea. I have one similar called Residence. Except they aren't really invading it--the earth used to belong to them before but when the human race began to populate, they left and promised never to return if the earth was taken care of, the humans agreed and they were given the chance to prosper.
Now the earth is failing and they can't stand around anymore and watch. They send down a few select of their most elite to take back what is rightfully theirs. Â Of course the government doesn't want this and won't allow for this to just happen and they send their best operative who are "believers" to stop this.
Then there are the regular joes who are in the wrong place at the wrong time. They either side with the government or with the residences and try their best to do what they think is right.
OTL I've just been too lazy to even bother with this idea. But I think it's fresh and there is no "school", or an "age" limit on any of the characters and it's a nice mixture of fantasy, sci-fi, action, etc etc.

| Alien role plays are excellent. Even though the idea of aliens honestly freaks me out a little bit. | |

| TitleCirque de la LumièreGenreDrama, Action and a tiny pinch of RomanceGroup• Ringleader • Ring leader's daughter • Trapeze Artists/Acrobats (Max 2) • Animal Tamer • Daredevils (Max 2)PlotBasically this RP revolves around the lives of a travelling circus troupe, I haven't had much time to think about an actual plot but that's what this thread is for, right?RacesHumansLiterate LevelSemi-Lit/AdvancedRatingR-16+ImagesRealAs you can see this is a great work in progress and the idea just came to me after remembering a certain Ace Attorney case (I bet you know the one Defy ) and I've never seen a Circus RP either, so it seems like fun! :3 As for the plot, other stuff can be incorporated like each member having a secret relating to their life before they became part of the circus. Thoughts? :3 | |

| @Twisty I cried a bit. I really did. When you mentioned the case I just..
ACRO WHYYY???
Maybe it could be something where the ringmaster locks both the performers and some customers inside the circus tent and forces them to live with one another? *searches brain for more thoughts*
@Essie I LOVE the invaded idea.

| Hmm maybe the ringleader is like a kind of grand manipulator who forces the troupe to travel with him/her and they can't escape?
Kinda like sleeping with the enemy but darker somehow because it's a circus.
Or perhaps the troupe is a cover for something shady they do with those who come to watch the show? |

| I'm just seeing these responses now x_x
But yes.. I was thinking that all the circus performers had really dark secrets, all of which the ringmaster knows, and he is using that as blackmail to keep them in the circus...
OR there could be like a supernatural twist where they sold their souls to him or something...
I don't know that's why I need help :I

And don't worry about it Sugar Cube. I just hope you like your new job (:
