Ashes to Ashes [IC]

"I'm fine." Turok said and walked down to get to the dive bar, he staggered a bit. He lost quite a bit of blood and started to loose consciousness "We should help him anyways." Kalina said and took out a first aid kit from a near by tool box. Rocky folded his ears and whined a bit, he was worried.

Leah pouted, Stupid guy trying to be tough. "Don't be so prideful all the time you'll wind up really hurt one day if you keep it up." She told him going over to Kalina to help her out. Why do guys always have to act this way? She thought while blowing her bangs out of her face.

"You're preaching to the choir." Turok said and tripped a bit, he leaned on a wall "Ok, maybe I have a concussion." he said holding his head and sat down. "He's always like that, somehow it's how he survives." Kalina said and went over she took out a bottle of alcohol, some needles and thread. She saw he had a few cuts on his chest and stomach.

Leah crossed her arms over her chest, "he'll wind up dead one day if he doesn't fix that." She said going over to help Kalina. "Also you should always carry some sort a first aid with you, you never know what you'll run into out here." She said looking up at him. "I almost always have some sort of first aid with me." She then went rummaging through her bad and took out a clean rag, "here use this to help clean the wounds." She said handing it to Kalina.

"I know but so far we need him to be like that, at least during situations like this." Kalina said and grabbed the rag "Thanks." she added and gave Turok some pain killers then cleaned the wounds, she dipped the needle in alcohol and began to stitch up his cuts. She then started to place bandages on the them when she finished "I know

Leah tilted her head in confusion and looked between the two. "But why? It's dangerous to be like that." She asked concerned for his well being. I really cant see why it'd be beneficial for them to have their friend constantly putting his body through so much torture.

"I know but he really doesn't care. Plus, he used to be a prize fighter so he's used to it." Kalina said and cleaned gash on the back of his head "If it were up to me and Rayne, he would be more careful." she added and stitched up the gash.

It....it just doesn't make any sense. Leah looked up at Turok sad, "Why?" She asked him staring in his eye. She felt a tinge in her chest and griped the left side of her dress where a few of her scars are hidden. Why would anyone would purposely do something like that do themselves.

Turok sighed and looked away, he stayed quiet and slowly got up "I'm hungry, let's get something to eat." he said and walked to the restaurant, he looked up and saw the metal shingle bridge drawn. He walked under it and went inside the restaurant. "Don't take it personally, he likes to keep to himself." Kalina said and patted Leah's shoulder "Besides the food in there will cheer you up" she added to help lighten the mood. Rocky went over to Leah and licked her fingers, he could tell she was upset and wanted to cheer her up, even a little.

Leah smiled and patted Rockys head, "alright thanks," She said to Kalina. I thought he didn't like me with how he acted guess not though. She gave a small smile to her, "food makes everything better right?" She giggled and started heading in the direction Turok went with Kalina and Rocky.

Rockie nuzzled her hand and panted happily as he wagged his tail. Turok sat in a stool next to the bar and waited "Gimme a Cuba Libre." he said and looked around. Kalina nodded "Oui." she said in agreement and looked for a place to sit, she sat in a booth and waited for Leah. Rocky sat Next to Kalina and looked around. Turok looked over and saw Kalina with Rocky and that Leah. He got up "Bring it to my booth." he said and went to their booth, He sat down and leaned back.

Leah looked around a bit checking out the place before taking her seat. "What's a Cuba Libre?" She asked Kalina while taking a seat next to her. I don't really know what i should get to eat... She thought while waiting for her to answer.

"Rum & coke." Turok said and looked as the waitress brought him his drink, he took a sip and sighed. Another waitress came "Well come to the Wolf's Den, what will you be having today?" she asked kindly and handed them menus. Turok looked at it "I want a steakhouse burger, large order of fries and some BBQ wings." he said "I'll have Alfredo shrimp pasta, some mozzarella sticks, a Cesar salad and garlic bread. For the dog, a raw sirloin." she said. The waitress wrote the orders down and looked at Leah "And what will you have miss?" she asked, like several inconspicuos people in the restaurant she was wearing a hood.

Leah nodded at Turok's reply. "Ummm..." Leah had a quick look over the menu before answering. "I'll have the Cajun chicken pasta, some mozzarella sticks for me too, jalapeno poppers, and a tall beer." She said handing the beer back to the waitress. Leah reached up and took the bow that was holding up her hair and put back how she had it before those thugs showed up.

"OK, thanks your orders will be here in a few minutes." The waitress said and smiled, she walked to the kitchen. Turok sipped more of his drink and looked around, he pet Rocky a bit and looked at Leah. Rocky nuzzled his hand and panted, his tail wagged happily. Kalina laid back on her seat and hummed a bit.

Leah bit her bottom lip and looked around a bit more. I feel so out of place here. She thought to herself and looked over at Kalina humming and smiled. She seems to be enjoying herself though! Leah then looked over at Turok and Rocky.

Turok looked at Leah "So......" he awkwardly tried to start a conversation, Rocky got off the seat and went to Leah, he nuzzled his head on her thigh as he wagged his tail happily. Kalina looked at her switchblade as she hummed, she popped it open and slowly began to pick dirt off her nails with the tip.

Leah giggles and petted Rocky, "So what?" She asked looking up at Turok. She pet Rocky some more and noticed what Kalina was doing. She sure is interesting.

Rocky barked happily and nuzzled her hand, he climbed up and sat on her lap. he panted and perked up his ears. Turok grinned "He likes you." he said and crossed his arms. Kalina kept digging dirt from her finger nails with her switchblade. She put it away and face palmed when she realized something "I forgot, we haven't properly introduced each other yet." she said feeling dumb.(it's true....... I think)

Leah giggled and rubbed Rockys back, "hey you!" She laughed some more, "yeah and i really like him too!" She scratched the back of his ear, "his a bit big to be sitting on my lap though." Leah looked over at Kalina and laughed, "yeah we really haven't have we?" (yeah it is it was really just a hi and that's it really >.>)

Rocky panted and wagged his tail happily as she scratched his ear "I know, he's really affectionate towards girls." Turok said and smiled "Oh, yeah." he said feeling awkward "Damn, we only just said hi and had a big personal moment in that alley without knowing each other." he laughed a bit when he said that. "I'm Turok, that's Rocky." he said "I'm Kalina Ann." she said and smiled, she pet Rocky too.

Leah smiled and pet Rocky some more, "that's a good boy protecting the girls." She giggled, "It's alright things happen that you can't really control." She said looking over at Turok, "L'm Leah it's nice to official meet you guys."

Rocky wagged his tail more and nuzzled her hand. "Like wise." Kalina said "The red head that was with us before is Rayne." Turok said and sipped more of his drink "So, what do you do for a living?" he asked trying to start a conversation.

Leah nodded her head in acknowledgment. "Oh um...well i'll do whatever job i can take but i specialize in assassinations. If a job pays well enough i'll do almost anything though." She scratched the back of Rocky's neck, "what do you guys do?"

Turok sighed "I never liked assassination missions, I keep thinking if the guy I killed was innocent or if he had a family or something. In other words blindly following orders ain't my thing." he said and leaned back "Rayne is an assassin too, but she works for others, but they have some sort of code. A bit like a cult but people really seem to like them." Kalina said and sighed in relief as the food came in "Finally." she said and ate a piece of garlic bread. She looked at Turok as he ate his fries. Rocky looked at the slab of sirloin placed on a plate on the floor, he got off of Leah and started to eat.
