Ashes to Ashes [IC]

Ever looked up at Micheal. "Um I don't know.." She said and she looked out the window. She then took her phone out and started to play a game on it.

"Well, I could show you some of the new things we got. Our Unit finally got a Juggernaught mech suit." Micheal said and kept driving. He looked outside and watched a few hover cars fly over.

Andie looked around the bags of clothes. She sighed and picked out something less form fitting so the fabric wouldnt catch on her stitches. Taking an oversized men's t-shirt, blue,from a bag she shook it free of wrinkles. She hung the shirt over her shoulder and continued to look for some pants. All she kept finding were faded jeans and denim shorts.” no no.” She sighed. Opening up another bag she smiled. Her eyes spied a pair of black spankies shorts on the top of the pile. Andie gave a slight nod to Charlie and went into the bathroom. She undressed down to her bra and panties, looked at her tear-stained face in the mirror, and ran warm water in the sink. Cupping some of the water in her hands, she splashed her face with it. Her eyes were still puffy and red,not from the recent crying, but from the two days she went without a good sleep. She was running on a 2 hour nap from the day before. She came out with the blue shirt in her hand as she lifted it over her head, pulling it over her body. “Soo..what now?” She smiled a bit and shrugged.

"I thought you weren't aloud to show anyone that doesn't work there the things that are there." Ever said and she looked at Micheal. She stuck her tongue out at him and she looked outside. She smiled a little and leaned back

"He's not." Aliza pointed out and raised an eyebrow at Micheal. Micheal sighed "True...." he said with a sigh "But have anywhere else you want to go? I start work in 3 hours." he said. He wanted to kill some time.

"Now we go to Evergreen and help you post that job request." Charlie said and led her to the garage, some people were working on cars, motorcycles, buggies and trucks. Charlie looked around "Where's my car?" she asked, the head mechanic looked up and pointed "It's over there, we just finished reloading the guns." he said. Charlie ginned and walked over to her car, she sighed "Didn't I say I wanted some sort of protection on the windows? Iron bars, chain link fence, anything." she said and sighed hard "Sorry we ran out of scrap metal a few days ago." The mechanic said "Have a few rookies loot and scrap the power plant." She said and opened a door for Andie "We did but they never came back." The mechanic added, Charlie had a worried look on her face, she got in the car "Guess I'll have to put up a request or my own." she mumbled and turned on the car "Boss, what about the guys that didn't come back?" the mechanic asked "I'll handle it." she said and looked for a decent radio station.

Charlie's car, Razor:

"Um.. How about the mall or the beach?" Ever asked and she looked at Aliza and Micheal. She poked Micheal and moved before he could kiss her finger. She smirked.

Andie got into the car slowly and looked at the mechanics. “ you have you own mechanics?” She looked to charlie, watching her tune the radio. Looking down at her nails,she saw dirt underneath then and proceeded to pick some of it out. She hummed lightly the song she could barely hear over the static. “ Soo.. what would the bounty hunters do?” Her face was pale. She usually had black eyeliner to make her eyes of green pop and seem mystifying. But at the moment,with her makeup washed off,, her eyes just looked plain and normal. There was no innocent sparkle to them at all, just the shine of her tears.

"Yeah, we need other forms of making money plus it helps to have mechanics here." Charlie said and started to drive off once she found a death metal station, she looked at Andie's side of the car and noticed the machine gun mounted on the door. she sighed "if I told them once I told them a thousand times, put a gun on my side of the car or above the engine." she thought to her self frustrated "They'll send your job request to any mercenary or assassin within a 100 yard radius. Said mercenary or assassin will contact us once the job is done. It's really a waiting game." she said as she drove through the dirt road, she avoided the hills and lumpy roads to avoid damaging the car.

"The beach is closed so I guess we're going to the mall." Micheal said and looked at her with a grin, he put the car on auto pilot and moved to the back, he pinned her down and started to tickle here. Aliza sighed.

Ever smiled and she looked at Micheal. She moved and tried to get away from him. She started laughing and squirming. "Micheal.. stop!" She said and she kept laughing. She tried moving his hands.

Leah opened up her eyes groggily, Did i fall asleep? She thought to herself while rubbing her eye and rolling over to the side trying to block out the sun. She squealed a bit loosing her balance a bit, Ah i should be more careful.... She sat up and stretched a bit sighing, "i wanna clean up." She said to herself while hopping off the roof feeling a bit gross after today's events. Leah started heading down to a near by river so she can wash off a bit.

Micheal kept tickling her and smiled, he stopped and kissed her forehead "OK but you better behave." he said and went back to the driver's seat. He turned off the auto-pilot. He started to drive to the Somerset mall.

Turok sat in the back and looked out the windows, he saw the clouds start to get darker "That can't be good." he mumbled and rubbed Rocky's head. Rocky nuzzled his hand and whined. Rayne was in the back cleaning the guns and looked at Naru, she smiled and watched her look outside. Kalina drove Nomad across the rough plains. She looked around carefully and sighed as she tried to find a good radio station. She smiled happily as she looked beside her at the duffle bag full of caps from the Mothrakk bounty. The group was driving to the guild for another job, knowing that most of the bounty would go to mechanic work, weapons, ammo, drinks, food and clothes.

Leah arrived at the river and sat down on a near by rock so she can take off her boots. She looked around to see if anyone was around and took off her tattered dress and leggings leaving her undergarments on. All sorts of scars could be seen now after being covered by her clothes. She groaned a bit, her shoulder still sore from earlier. This better not take too long to heal. She thought to herself as she stepped into the cool water and shivered a bit but soon got used to the teperature.

Ever sat up when he stopped and she smiled back. She blushed and looked out the window. She sighed happily and leaned back.

Andie shifted in her seat. She looked at all the machinery in the woman;s car. “ You dont..use all this do you?” She touched one of the metal guns lightly and pulled her finger back as if she had just touched a hot kettle. “ Its..not used on people though... I hope.” She mumbled and fiddled with the picture of her brother in her hand. IT was taken a few years ago. His hair was short,like a marines would be. His muscles were perfectly toned and shirt clung to his abs. A small tear hit the photo. She quickly wiped her eyes.

Charlie sighed happily when she found a classical rock station, Live Wire by Motley Crue was playing. She saw a few water drops fall on the hood of her car "Goddamit." she mumbled annoyed, her car didn't have windows. She looked at Andie "Only if the people that muster the nerve to attack me are human, but it's mostly animals like Spiderants, Rakk, Stalkers, Bullymongs, or even Skags." she saw that she was worried, she placed a hand on her shoulder comfortingly "Don't worry, you'll brother will be brought back safely I promised." she said in a kind and motherly tone.

Kalina kept driving Nomad down the dirt road, they were reaching the Bounty Hunter's Guild in Evergreen. Turok looked out the window and saw the sky darken "Nothing good can come from rain." He said and Rayne finished cleaning the guns, she started to put them back together "Locust?" she asked, he shook his head "No, scavengers tribe." he said and leaned on his seat. Rocky laid down and looked around, he yawned.

Micheal kept driving to the somerset mall, he looked up and turned on the windshield wipers. He reached the parking lot and looked for a place that would keep the car dry. He had a few spare umbrellas and gave one to each person. He stopped the car when he found a space under a tree. It kept most of the incoming water drops off the car.

Lucy and Maria ran back and forth across the bar doing as they always did. Maria brought another beer to one of the patrons while Lucy dodged one of the drunkards who was trying to touch where he shouldn't. It was just another rowdy day at their bar, nothing particularly unusual. Milly the ferret had ventured downstairs today and rested on top of one of the barrels near the broken stairs that led up to the girls' rooms.

Andie looked at charlie with her red,puffy eyes and mouth a “ Thank you” She relaxed into the seat and closed her eyes. Her body wanted to relax and sleep for a while. But she didnt want to. She wanted to stay awake until her brother was with her. She wrapped her frail arms around herself to keep warm with the lack of windows.

"Your welcome." Charlie said and smiled, she groaned annoyed when the rain started to pick up "Oh come on." she complained and looked for a parking space with a roof over it. She sighed in relief when she found a 14 space lot with a roof over it. She drove under the roof and parked her car, she turned it off and looked around the back seat for an umbrella.

Kalina looked ahead and saw the bounty hunter's guild. she kept driving to the general goods store next to it, she carefully parked the bus next to it and turned it off "We're here." she said and stretched, the others stretched and stood up as well, Rocky yawned and looked around, he started to stretch as he got up.

Ever noticed that it started raining and she sighed. She got out after he parked the car and she opened her umbrella and she walked over to the door of the mall. She looked back at the car and waited for the others.

Leah dipped further and further into the water until she was all the way submerged and stayed like that for a bit. Coming back up for a while Leah decided to float on top of the water, looking up she notices the darkening sky. Oh it looks like it's going to rain soon. She thought to herself but made no effort to get out of there she was enjoying the cool refreshing water too much to care about getting home before the rain started to fall. She enjoyed the rain actually and besides it's not like it would kill her by getting caught in it.

Maria glanced back at her sister who was hurriedly running about to tend to the patrons of the bar. She was so busy that Maria figured she wouldn't notice if she slipped out for a second. Her sister was very protective and it could be stifling sometimes. She wouldn't be gone long and she had weapons on her person to defend herself if need be. She didn't intend to go far anyway. With one last glance at her sister, she slipped out the back door of the bar.

Lucy on the other hand was having a particularly busy day, so she didn't really have much time to check up on her sister. She had always told Maria that if anything happened all she had to do was yell and Lucy would be there in a flash. Since she didn't hear anything, she was forced to assume that her sister was fine or risk getting all their customer mad at her for being slower to get to them than usual.

Micheal put on a leather poncho and walked over to Ever, Alisa did the same and helped Cassie avoid the rain. They made it to the mall entrance and opened the door "Let's stay close, this is the biggest mall on this side of the world." Micheal said and held Ever's hand as he walked in.

Ever looked at Micheal and smiled. "That's a good idea." She said and walked in with him. "Wont people think we're dating because we're holding hands and basically flirt all the time?" She asked and looked around. She pulled Micheal over to some clothes and she looked at some shirts.

Andie started to nod off slightly, The minute her head moved,she would wake up. “ Soo,, the place you;re taking me... what exactly is it?” She looked over to Charlie while she looked at the guns in the car as well.. There were so many of them.. why would one person have so many guns. She wondered. She pulled her knees up to her chest, as she was getting chills in her body with the lack of windsheild.

"The bounty hunter's guild. You said you wanted to get your brother back right? I'm gonna help you post a job, a mercenary will pick it up and will bring your brother back." Charlie said and looked at Andie, she found an old sweater and gave it to her "Put this on." she said and sighed in relief when she found and umbrella "Found it." she said and got out of the car, she opened the door on Andie's side and helped her get out.

"Maybe, maybe not but I really don't mind." Micheal said and followed Ever, he watched her fawn over the clothes and smiled.

Turok and the others got out of the bus, he stretched and groaned when he felt a sharp pain in his arm. He looked at it and saw a small cut, he looked up "Damn, looks like razor hail." he mumbled and whistled for Rocky, the dog got out and went into the building, The rest followed him and brought the little girl(Naru) with them.
