Hello members!
By now, I'm certain that you have noticed a bar on your profile. This is the new warning system that has been put in place.
Here at Galore we love for everyone to enjoy themselves and be as creative as they can be, so please do not fret and think you will be penalized for making roleplays, that is not the case. The warning system has been put in place to ensure that users, both staff and members alike follow the rules put in place.
The tags go as followed:
No warnings have been issued, clean slate! Two warnings have been issued to you.Three warnings have been given. You have been given your last and final warning. You have gotten a series of warnings and reminders without change.
Banishment varies from a few days to indefinite. Before you are given any warnings, you are given two reminders prior to the warning.
2 reminders=One warning. Your bar status will remain the same.
4 reminders=Two warnings. You bar status will drop.
6 reminders= Three warnings. Your status will lower once more.
8 reminders= Four warnings. Your status will be dropped and no more warnings will be given.
8+ reminders= Banishment. Your bar will be empty and you will not have access to Galore.
There are ways to drop without getting a reminder.
1. You are caught with one or more accounts.
2. Stealing another person's plots, stories, characters.
3.Lying to a moderator or administration.
4. Complaints from other members about an individual.
Once you have served your banishment, you will NOT start over, but be placed back at forty or ten percent, depending on the extent of your previous actions. Over a period of time you will be able to build your accreditation back.
Please keep in mind that moderators ARE able to change this system, however if they are caught doing so without reason, they will be marked as well.
Also keep in mind we can not keep track of everyone at once, so if you are given a warning or more and you do not see the markdown, don't think you are off the hook!
Members who receive a warning on their profile will be sent a private message by the staff member who issued the warning. The message will explain exactly why they have received a warning. (A list of reminders will be posted between moderators and administration, so don't think we won't know!) The staff have decided to do this in order to avoid confusion and to clarify to members if they receive one. Private messages will not be sent for reminders or bans. Reminders will be given in the thread that the issue has happened. If you have any questions regarding the warning system, please do not hesitate to contact myself or any other staff member.
