Ashes to Ashes [IC]

Ever looked at her cellphone and smiled. Okay. Be careful and I'll cook something for dinner . I'll be safe as long as I'm in your apartment She texted back and went into the kitchen. She looked through the cupboards and took out some Mac & Cheese. She found some steak too and she put it in the sink to thaw.

Cassie kept driving down the road and as she did things started to look more and more life less. They were just outside and it looked like a car, town and airplane graveyard. Abandoned old cars were all over the place "I'll never forget my first time out here..." she said and sighed. She kept driving down the road.

Micheal read the text and smiled, he remembered he had an app that allowed him to video chat with her. He typed in her phone number and the serial number to his helmet. He put it on and texted back "I will and thanks  also I just remembered my helmet has a video chat cam so we can talk for a bit if you want." he sent it and also sent a video chat invite. She'll be able so see what he sees, he started to look outside.

Turok weakly got up "OK fine." he said and sat on the bed "But what about you? You got tossed around as much as me." he said and asked concerned.

Ever looked at her phone and smiled. Your welcome and awesome! Ever texted back and she accepted the video chat. "Hey Micheal! Is that actually what that place looks like??" She said/asked and turned the TV down. She put her hair up and brought her phone with her to the kitchen. She got a bottle of water and went back to the living room.

Siena started taking some pictures, this looks so cool~!!!! She heard what Cassie said and went up and sat nest to her. "Oh yeah? Mind sharing~?" She said pointing the camera at her face.

Leah rubbed the back of her neck, "I think i'm fine...Just my neck and back hurt from that guy..." She sat down next to him. "If it weren't for you catching me i'd probably be a lot worse....i really owe you for that." She said smiling up at him.

Cassie moved away from her a bit "Yeah...... could you not point that thing at me?" she asked and kept driving, it was hard for her to concentrate with Siena being so close. As she kept driving the ruined buildings and piles of cars and other things became less and less. The open road was starting to look more barren.

"No problem." Turok said and pet her a bit, he sighed and laid back on the bed. he looked at her and lightly patted the side next to him so she'd sit closer to him.

"Yeah, Kinda creepy right?" Micheal said as he looked out the window more, he laid back on his seat "So, what are you doing right now?" he asked.

Siena pouted, "C'mon it'll be good for the documentary!" She said and backed up a bit.

Leah smiled more and laid down next to him. "Feels better to lay down and relax, right?"

"Yeah." Turok said and looked at her, the bed was a bit old and started to sink under his weight, the edge lifted up a bit making Leah roll over and lay down on top of him. He looked at her and grinned a bit "I know I saved your life but we barely know each other." he teased.

Leah blushes bright red. "Y-yeah i know..." She looks at the bedroom wall and then back up at Turok thinking. "I guess we just have to get to know more about each other from now on."

"Yeah." Turok said and stroked her back softly, he looked to the side when he heard a scuffle. Rocky came into the room and looked at them, he barked happily and climbed onto the bed and laid down next to them. he looked at Leah and licked her face "He really likes you." he said and smiled.

Leah blushes more feeling Turok touching her back. She giggles when Rocky licks her face. "Yeah." She said wiping off the slobber and scratches the back on his head. "He's a sweet dog." She said smiling and petting him more.

"OK fine." Cassie sighed and kept driving "It was really overwhelming......" she said and looked outside more "I mean come on look for yourself." she said and pointed at all the wasteland outside. there was almost nothing but rubble rusted out cars and some dead trees here and there.

Siena smiled brightly and kept filming. She moved the camera and looked out the window getting some shots of the scenery. "Actually i think it's really cool~ And amazing to think about how so many survive out here." She said taking some more shots along with some random pictures then turning the camera back on Cassie.

Rocky nuzzled her hand and folded his ears, he sniffed her a bit and wagged his tail happily "I know." Turok said and pet Leah a bit, he watched her play with Rocky and smiled more.

Leash smiled and scratched his chin. "How long have you had him?" She asked Turok looking back at him. She blushed more as Turok pet her.

"2 years, I had him since he was a puppy." Turok said and sat up a bit, he sat Leah on his lap and watched her play with Rocky. Rocky wagged his tail happily and folded his ears. Turok remembered something and looked through his night stand "I found this a while back, it's too dainty for me but you can have it if you want." he said and handed her the pistol.

"Oh that's really cool." She said petting him more. Leahs eyes widened, "Are you sure?" She asked looking up at him. "You already bought the AK and the kilij for me."

"Yeah." Turok said and placed it on her lap "Yeah go ahead, it's nor really my style. Plus I can tell you'll make better use of it." he said and watched her play with Rocky. Rocky nuzzled her hand more and wagged his tail.

Leah smiled and took the gun, "Thank you." She said blushing and looking down at it. She rubbed the back on Rockys head and giggled.

"I wouldn't be able to deal with all that.." Ever said and she took a sip of her water. "Drinking some water and watching TV." She said and smiled a little.

"You'll change your tone once you see some tickers or maybe a Brumak. Just pray we don't run into a Rager or a Berzerker." Cassie said and shuddered as she remembered seeing a berzerker for the first time.

Rocky nuzzled her hand and wagged his tail happily. "anytime." Turok said and looked outside, it was still raining.

"I know." Micheal said and sighed "Oh, ok what are you watching?" he asked.

"Mhmmm whatever you say~" Siena said not really caring about the dangers.

Leah smiled at pet Rocky some more. She saw Turok staring out the window. "Do you think it'll stop anytime soon?" She asked him being tired of the rain.

"Doubt it, it tends to rain for weeks after a razor hail storm." Turok said and laid back, he sighed. Rocky wagged his tail happily and nuzzled her hand more.
