Ashes to Ashes [IC]

"You're welcome." Turok said with a light grin, he looked at the red head "Oh good, you snapped out of it." he said and ran his hand over his nearly shaved head.(he has a mohawk if you saw his pic)

"That's his way of saying 'I'm glad your OK'." Rayne explained and examined her "Before we do that job we should go to you know who to buy some you know what." she whispered to him.

"Ok, once we're done eating let's check it out." Micheal said and gently squeezed her hand back. He smiled more. Aliza kept eating and sipped some more tea.

andie looked at the man walking near her. She pulled her boney legs closer to her frail body for protection. she only had her vial with her and none of her knives. She didnt have enough strenght to stand so at this point the poison would do no good. " Please.. just tell me how you;re going to get my brother back."

Turok thought for a bit and shrugged "Same as any rescue, torture the crap out of someone and drag him back here alive or dead." he said.

Rayne raised a row at him and looked at the girl "Yeah..... if you want you can ride along with us. That way you make sure you're brother is in good hands." she clarified.

" D-Dead?" Her eyes got bigger. " No.. not dead." She held her head in her hands and rocked back and forth slightly to calm herself down. she shook her head " I dont wanna go.. i love him but i cant see him hurt.."

Rayne scowled and punched him in the arm "Look what you did jackass."

Turok rubbed his arm "I didn't mean it I was just messing around."

"She's scared enough already did you have to make it worse?" Rayne said frustrated.

Kalina sighed and went over to the girl "Do not worry your brother will be safe, but I think you should reconsider, what he meant was you can come along with us so you're reunited with him sooner, it's a 6 day drive from Crimson Valley(the city he's held in) and back. So you don't have to wait too much to see him yes?" she said kindly as she offered her a ride along.

"Okay. I'm going to go get something to drink. Do you want anything?" Ever asked and she smiled back. She let go of his hand and got up.

" I dont want him seeing me like this.. ill have 6 days to look a bit healthier.." She looked to the girl and used Charlie as a prop to stand on her own two feet. " Can we go back to the clubhouse?" She looked to charlie with hopeful eyes. She just wanted to be in a warm bed and be comfortable.

"Suit yourself." Kalina said and sat down.

Charlie held her and sighed "Sorry, we're pretty much trapped here until the hail clears up." she said and patted her head, she looked at Lucas "Is there somewhere were we can get something to eat?" she asked. Lucas nodded "2 blocks that way, he pointed to an open door leading to an alley way with little cover from the hail.

Things are starting to get really weird here. Leah thought to herself while taking a seat and looking at everyone. .....i feel really out of place here... she sighed and leaned back.

Andie sighed and nodded. "Lets go." she ran her fingers through her hair and sighed. All she wanted was to see her brother..and take a nap. She began to hum a song that her mother had sung to her to make her sleep.
" you are my sunshine... my only sunshine.. you make me happy wen shies are gray.." She swallowed her tears and started to walk in the direction of the restaurant.

Charlie held onto her her and started to lead her to the alley, Rayne stood up You'll need two people in order to get through." she said and stretched "I'll lead." she said and took the Boomer Shield from Turok. She made her way to the alley and held the shield up, there was a large opening in the ceiling. Charlie held Andie and looked up "I got it." Rayne said and vaulted over a desk. The shield blocked the hail as she made her way to the garage door button, she pressed it and the garage door retracted making a make shift ceiling "Cost is clear come on over." she said. Charlie moved the desk and held Andie close as they made it through, the hail started to melt quickly so it wouldn't be like broken glass on the floor.

Turok sighed as they left, Kalina looked at Leah "Are you feeling good?' she asked a bit concerned.

"Some ice tea, and a large slice of pizza." Micheal said and smiled as he looked at her.

Andie watched as the hail slid off the sheild as her and Charlie made their way through the barely covered alley way. Her stomach growled as she walked with charlie. In her mind she could smell a greasy hamburger topped with cheese and lettuce and tomato. Her mouth watered and she smiled. Then she thought they probabl wouldnt have that type of food anymore. More of the kind of food that would be found in the wilderness..like what she killed only a few hours before

Rayne walked through the alley and moved some things around, she heard a voice and ducked under side laid table. Charlie followed her lead and ducked behind a wrecked car, she held Anide close "Stay alert, we're almost there." she whispered to her and covered her mouth. The voices got louder. A few bandits were hiding from the hail and bantered "Man, when the hell is this hail gonna let up?" one asked "In a few hours don't get your thong in a twist." the other said and chuckled, his friend punched him in the arm "I know, it's just I already had my room setup with a girl in it, now I have to wait to get some. She'll probably fall asleep by then." he said "Yeah and they charge you by the hour." he laughed and got punched in the arm again. The bandit sat down and sighed "Maybe there's some girls hiding here, you never know." the one leaning against a wall said "I hope you're right." the one sitting down sighed hopefully.

Andie listened closely to the voices. she heard them laughing a bit. " what is it about guys and Sex..." She said almost disgusted and chuckled a bit. she clicked her tongue against the back of her teeth, wanting this hail to stop. The Vial clanked against her chest as she moved. Poison was her key weapon, She was good with her blades.. but she was even better with her poison. She knew how to hide it in foods and drinks of every sort.

Rayne shushed her quietly and stayed still. Charlie covered her mouth and steadied her breathing "Did you hear that?" one of them stood up and looked around, the other grinned "Looks like it's your lucky day." he said and they both began to look around. Rayne vaulted over the table and pinned one down. She opened her hidden blade and drove it through his neck, his body went limp and she quietly began to drag him behind her cover. "Joey? Joey you there?" the remaining bandit asked and looked around frightened. Charlie looked around for something and picked up a rock, she threw it and drew his attention elsewhere.

Andie rolled her eyes. he took Charlie's hand off her mouth to breath. " How much farther." She whispered and looked in both directions and looked to the man that was pinned down,

Rayne only had her crossbow, she drew it and aimed it at the back of the guys head, she took her shot and hit him behind the neck, he fell to his knees then on his face as his body went limp "Not much further." she said "And next time, try to keep quiet. We were almost playthings to those thugs." she said and holstered her crossbow. Charlie held Andie close and followed Rayne "Cut her some slack she's probably new here." she said. Rayne sighed "Fine, but if she wants to survive here she has to follow the golden rule." she said and help up the shield again "I'll get it." she said and vaulted over the car and pressed the garage door button, the garage door moved up and made a make shift ceiling again "Follow me." she said and looked over at the end of the alley, nothing but bare sky as razor hail blocked their path to the restaurant. It was right there. Charlie went to her with Andie and sighed "Dead end." she complained "Not really." Rayne said, she whistled. Someone in the building looked down and then pulled a lever, a bridge of metal ceiling plates stretched from the window to the roof of the building they were in "Nice." Charlie said and grinned.

Leah rose an eyebrow and watched the three leave, How the hell is a girl like that still alive in this kind of place? She thought and looked over at Kalina, "Hmmm, i'm fine..." She twisted her face a bit confused, "Why do i look funny?" She asked.

Kalina shrugged "Just making small talk." she said and looked over to the alley way "If you want, we could follow. I heard they serve nice food over there." she stated. Rocky trotted over and looked at Leah, he barked and wagged his tail. Kalina smiled and pet him, he rolled over happily.

Leah smiled and giggled at Rocky, "Sure i'm getting pretty hungry actually." Leah looked over to Turok, "You going to come too?" She asked.

"Sure why not." Turok said and stood up, he walked over to the door and looked back at them. Kalina stretched a bit and sighed "I hope they still have some sweet bread." she said and pet Rocky again, he backed happily and wagged his tail. His ears perked up as he followed Turok.

Leah got up and grabbed her bad trotting over to the door bu the other, "What kind of food do they have there?" She asked them.

"Okay." Ever said and smiled back. She went over to the counter and ordered 2 ice teas and a slice of pizza. After she got the piece of pizza and the drinks she went back over to the table. She put Micheal's in front of him and sat back down. She opened her ice tea and took a sip out of it.

" I am new here.. I live in the woods." She shook her head. She looked to charlie. " She always like this?" Andie arched her thin brow and chuckled a bit, trying to lighten the mood as best she could. She began to hum quietly again as she looked around, taking in her surroundings. Her brother was sure to hear about this when he returned.. alive she hoped.

"Anything you could want, burgers, hot dogs, whatever really." Turok said as he walked down the alley. He saw two dead bandits and sighed "I hope their friends aren't near by." he said. Kalina face palmed "Why did you jynx it." she said complaining a bit. He looked back at her with a raised eyebrow "Do you really believe in the crap? There is no such thing as-" he was cut off when a few men with spiked hair and body armor walked in, the grinned looking at the girls "Well well well, looks like we get to have a little fun boys." the leader said and then saw the corpses "After we skin that guy." he pointed at Turok. He groaned annoyed "I hate my luck." he said and cracked his knuckles. Kalina drew her switchblade, Rocky snarled and folded his ears back.

Charlie shrugged "How should I know, I barely met her." she said and looked at her as they walked inside the restaurant "What's your name?" Charlie asked.

"Rayne." she replied and looked around "Yours?" she asked back.

"Charlie." she said and looked around for a booth or a seat.

Micheal smiled "Thanks." he said and sipped some tea, he then took a bite from his pizza.
