I have two ideas:

The Dreamer's Pen-
This idea basically consists of a rejected poet and a young woman arriving at the massive estate of their recently deceased sponsor. They are surprised to discover the entirety of her estate, fortune, and even stocks, are left to THE BOTH of them. There's one catch, they are expected to live in the mansion together and care for the library that the three of them had all treasured so.

They both cautiously accept, a little confused why they were selected for the honor, and why they must share the burden. They plan on merely not seeing much of each other while inhabiting the estate, but when weird things start occurring in the estate, particularly the library which they both so dearly love, they must learn to overcome their differences and work together to save all that they hold dear, or watch their dreams and lives unfurl before them like ink from a dreamer's pen

I'm looking for someone who can add some dimension to the female character and naturally this idea will have a semi supernatural and romantic aspect. It will be a time piece and can either take place in either the 1920's or 1950's.

Stratego-

This concept takes place in a futuristic war-driven world where everyone aspires and fights for the honor and right to be a soldier. The setting is in a prestigious young adult, all female, soldier acadamy. Whether the character is forced to be there or is there by hopeful choice is up to you. The academy is divided into multiple classes based on your personality and skill set. One or a few of each class is put into one bunkhouse. Those in this bunkhouse are considered a crew and they must fight against other teams in strategic war games to succeed within the academy. The team that comes out on top wins ultimate fame, fortune, power, and wealth within the society and is capable of achieving whatever their heart yearns for, no question. There's only one question- how much are you willing to sacrifice of yourself, how far are you willing to go- to achieve all you've ever dreamed of?

This idea leaves open a great big opportunity for GL relations or disguised gender, it would require multiple roles to be played by both participants.

My original rule was 3+, due to people's inability to write a quality short post, but I know your writing style so the rule can be bent if you see fit.

We should start on the plot a bit...

I was thinking about something along the lines of inkheart for what's going on with the estate. something along the lines of every time they care for her special library or read a book from it or something an object or even a character comes from it? Yes?

Or IDK we should probably decide on that before we start talking about whether the characters have a past or not, and then pumping out character sheets.

Ah so the supernatural affinity isn't because the house is haunted by ghosts, but because the characters are coming alive from the books? Now are they coming alive WHILE they are reading the book/caring for the library or is it after they actually leave out the room? Do the characters know that things "magical" happen in the special library?

Also, who was this sponsor? Was it an old neighbor, perhaps the same person they worked for? Maybe a relative to one?

Ghosts work too... we could always do a twist and say the "sponsor" was a reader and she trapped her favorite storybook characters inside the library to die and now they're haunting the house?

I was thinking they were more like her charges or something? Like as children, she took them on every summer to keep her company and read to her when her vision got to bad?

Then we can make it that when they got to their teen ears and started developing her powers they fought too much with one another and left the estate? Yes?

Essentially, they're both a half of a reader and complete each other?
